The Service staff were excellent. I must honestly say that i have never had a better experience than this one at the Emporium. I have even stayed at Hayman island multiple times but the emporium did it better. Every single employee made the experience a pleasurable one.

I first visited the Emporium Hotel in August 2011 to experience the Cocktail Bar. I loved the design and the ambiance and the quality and selection of international cocktails was second to none. I decided after my first visit that I would book accommodation for April 2012 for a wedding which I attended in Brisbane. The accommodation was luxurious probably the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever experienced. Room service was excellent, smiling friendly staff and the food was wonderful. I look forward to returning in September 2012 for another wedding

I was disappointed with the unreliability of the wifi coverage in my suite. Also the business centre broadband was down for 3 days, this was very inconvenient. I would also like a bigger selection on menu catering for special dietary needs ie lactose and gluten intolerance. I am sure this would not be a problem.

We were staying there for our Wedding and my wife was getting ready in the room for the wedding. The King size room was a good size for this and we enjoyed the very bling surroundings of the hotel. Also the attention to detail with the cleaning of the room was impressive, so a special thankyou to the cleaning staff who are often not mentioned in reviews. We had a great stay and enjoyed it alot.

No complaints as such, it would of been nice for something complimentry to be sent up to the room such as a bottle of champayne to congradulate us on our marriage. I used to work at a five star in Sydney and I remember that was standard procedure.

    Fabulous

The design itself, the shower size, the bed, the Bose stereo in the room. From my 200 nights/year in hotels, I have become quite picky, but have to say, if I go back to brisbane, I will consider this one for sure. A additional benefit is/are the restaurants in the walking distance and the river walk off course. I have found the restaurant next door, the Italian called Tartufo, well not so many times I have a Italian (outside of Italy) that is so tasty

That they do not serve breakfast in the hotel

  • 7.0
    Very good

    Close to the city.

Cannot believe that a 5 Star Hotel does not have its own restaurant for breakfast. We were not told on arriving that we could not get breakfast in the hotel and we do not always go to a hotel and read about ordering breakfast in our room.
